Turing is looking for a remote Front-End Engineer on behalf of a cryptocurrency platform that utilizes product and open protocol on Ethereum for users to purchase, trade, and create options on any ERC20. The engineer will be an integral part of the company’s expanding team and will be building and iterating on interfaces for the future of the financial system. The firm is a leader in derivatives markets and on-chain hedging, along with securing DeFi platforms and safeguarding collateralized assets in smart contracts, from money markets to neo-banks. During their Series A round, the company managed to raise more than $9 mn in funding. This will be an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to collaborate on innovative products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and iterate on interfaces for the future of the financial system
- Continuously drive initiatives and improvements on the front-end engineering, UI/UX design, and brand contributions
- Contribute to strategy and product execution
- Shape the company’s culture and establish standard engineering practices to be followed
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Front-End Engineer
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
- Prior working experience with Next.js and HTML/CSS is nice to have
- Familiarity with Graph, React, Netlify, Figma, and Ethers.js is desirable
- Hands-on knowledge of user empathy, cryptocurrency, finance, and security-focused engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
