Remote Front-end Developer (TypeScript, Next.js, and React)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Front-end Developer on behalf of an open-source technology platform for integrating live audio, video, and data communication. The developer will work with different technologies and contribute to the platform development. The company’s end-to-end real-time communications solution has gained early adoption by a growing network of enthusiasts, builders, and contributors. This will be a full-time and long-term opportunity for candidates who want to build meaningful software solutions that work. It requires a minimum of 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and engineer software to meet business needs, using a variety of languages, frameworks, and technologies
- Successfully take up new features through the entire development lifecycle, working in collaboration with other teams to define, develop and test
- Document and participate in performance testing to make UI more efficient
- Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and future challenges


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and React
- Nice to have some experience with distributed systems, services, and database
- Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility issues as well as the ability to debug
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome
