Remote Front-end Developer (React, Redux, and GitHub)

Turing is looking for a remote Front-end Developer on behalf of an early-stage tech company that uses technology, data, and design to build an all-in-one sustainable finance platform. Job Responsibilities:

- Build an innovative electric vehicle ownership experience, including the front-end work for a mobile responsive, customer web-based portal
- Take up ownership of the front-end build (React/Redux), feature development, and maintenance
- Debug user-facing issues and work with product and member support teams to ensure a best-in-class user experience
- Scale the platform to be at the cutting edge of the modern web


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a front-end developer
- Strong experience in FinTech, payments technology, and/or consumer finance
- Expertise in building web applications and keeping up with the latest technological developments in the space
- Ability to take end-to-end work ownership and comfortable making code improvements across the stack
- Capable of collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders and ensuring customer/business needs are met
- Have a keen sense for subtle details and help in building beautiful, easy-to-use products
- Ability to put users first and empathize with how they'll use the products
- Keen interest in the intersection of FinTech and Climate Tech
- Must have some experience in React, Redux, and GitHub
- Proficiency in Python, Plaid, and AWS is nice to have
