Remote Front-end Developer (React and TypeScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking to hire a remote Front-end Developer on behalf of a fast-growing VC-funded startup in the entertainment space. The developer must have a product mindset and will develop, implement, and execute interactive user interface components and innovative features. The company has managed to raise more than $1 mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring 8+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. This is an exciting opportunity for developers interested in growing as a leader in a startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Build the foundational front-end web app and tech
- Interact with customers, understand the customer and product needs
- Create and develop a modern and highly responsive web-based user interface
- Mentor other engineers and guide them through standard industry practices
- Take initiative to continuously improve the quality of the product and its services


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Extensive experience working with React
- Nice to have a strong knowledge of TypeScript
- Track record of building responsive front-end applications across a variety of browsers and devices using modern techniques
- Ability to understand business requirements and customer needs
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Fluent in English
