Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking to hire a remote Back-end Engineer on behalf of a fast-emerging open-source platform for real-time audio, video, and data communication. The engineer will contribute to the platform development and maintain code quality through standard best practices. The company’s end-to-end real-time communications solution is championed by a growing network of early adopters, builders, contributors, etc., and supports all major browsers and mobile platforms. This will be a full-time opportunity to take a significant role in defining and building impactful software solutions. It requires a minimum of 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.


Job Responsibilities:

- Generate recyclable code libraries and integrate reliable security systems
- Maintain and inspect server code for speed optimization
- Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage
- Configure usability of all front side applications and maintain stable servers with zero downtime


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
- Expert skills in Golang and WebRTC
- Nice to have some experience with distributed systems, services, and database
- Familiarity with front-side platforms as well as server-side experience
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects to meet set goals
