Remote Back-end Developer (Go)

Only candidates with 6+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Back-End Developer on behalf of a US-based developer of an all-in-one tax and accounting platform that helps users manage business and personal finances. The developer will be responsible for developing and optimizing the existing feature on the platform while also building out new features. The fast-growing, funded startup automates the accounting and tax filing process for the US freelancer market. This will be a full-time role that requires a time overlap with the EST/PST time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working on complex issues and arriving at innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain a substantial project
- Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code
- Provide technical leadership and own specific areas of the product
- Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
- Build new features, fix bugs, and bring new tools and ideas to the table


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a Back-End Developer
- 2+ years experience working with Go
- Excellent analytical and time management skills along with attention to detail
- Must be a team player but also capable of working independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Good communication and collaboration skills
