Lead a squad of 2 to 3 full-stack engineering teams, each such team consisting of about 4 engineers.
Work closely with a product manager and designer to execute a squads product roadmap.
Be accountable for the timely delivery, technical excellence and functional quality of product development.
Manage and mentor the team.
Work closely with the CTO, VP Eng and other engineering managers in driving engineering process and architecture.
Requirements
You come from a deep technical background, with 9+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 of those years in hands-on development, and at least 4 years in a team leadership role.
You still retain your software engineering fundamentals from your developer days (algorithms and data structures, networking, database theory, operating systems) and are able to review code and designs when necessary.
You are a very good communicator, planner and people manager.
