Job description

Core Skill Set Required:

• Overall 3 to 7 years' working experience with Technology/Software organizations as a Manual & Automation Test Engineer
• At least 1-2 years of automation testing experience in writing test automation scripts for Web applications, and Web Services.
• At least 3 years of testing experience with Agile Software development methodologies (Scrum). Should have good understanding of sprint planning.
• Hands-on work experience is required with the following tools/framework/methodologies (Selenium, POM, TDD, Jmeter, QTP)
• Performance Testing experience is a nice to have skill.
• Hands-on working experience with any repository tools like TFS,Git/SVN.

• Knowledge in any Bug tracking tools is must like JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps. Experience in Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Previous work experience in Sales automation domain would be added advantage
• A strong work ethic, with good attention to detail.
• The candidate should be a self-motivated, self-driven, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills

• Candidate should have good communication skill.

Detailed Job Description:

• Must be able to align continuous testing with Agile & DevOps to meet the required quality deliverables adhering to deadlines and ensure optimal test automation.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end continuous test automation process, key quality objectives, metrics, etc.
• Implementing & integrating continuous testing with automation tools and establish a testing strategy with best practices.
• Liaise with developers, business analysts, and scrum master following Agile methodologies (Extreme Programming/Scrum/Lean).
• Based on requirements, write Test scenario and Test cases for smoke/sanity tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, load tests, Business process test etc.
• Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional testing.
• Run functional and non-functional tests reporting test results.
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process, generating and sharing timely comprehensive test reports.
• Write Test plan, documentation from requirements specifications and test coverage for each sprint for each module.

• Create and update WSR and share with management

• Conducting Impact Analysis for optimized test automation.
• Provide estimates for test activities.
• Publishing dashboards and quality metrics.
• Able to do analysis of Change requests and high light impact of CR or schedule and quality of project deliverable.
