And neither will we. Want to know more? Please visit Sunhero.comWe are looking for our first Head of People to join the company in a hyper-growth phase. We are currently 60 team members and plan to double our size by the end of the year. You will have the unique opportunity to create a state-of-the-art HR organization for a mission-driven and remote-first company. We are proud of our team and culture and want to work with the Head of People to attract and retain the best talent. You will have a team of recruiters available and the opportunity to further hire for your People Department. This role reports directly to our COO & Co-Founder Stefan.

Tasks

  • You will work with the founders to set up a strategy for creating an efficient and scalable HR organization in support of the overall Sunhero growth and development plan.
  • You will lead strategy implementation and oversee the entire spectrum of People Topics (recruitment, on boardings, talent & development management, compliance, etc.).
  • You will be driving the decision process and implementation of new software tools (HR Operations, recruiting, etc.).
  • You will be overseeing Talent Acquisition and drive some key hire processes yourself.
  • You will be working with department leaders and the founders to develop career paths, org design, hiring plans.
  • You will be mentoring junior managers on leadership and interviewing techniques.
  • You will initially act as key POC for our team members for HR Operations topics.
  • You will be hiring your team members for the People Operations & recruiting function over the year.

Requirements

  • You have significant experience in People leadership roles, ideally including in high-growth, international startups.
  • You are ready to stand by our founding principles as they are the basis of how our company is operating - please see our webpage
  • You have a first-hand understanding of the way a startup operates at different growth stages to meet its objectives.
  • You have excellent knowledge of all aspects of People management and experience in (junior) leadership development.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of Spanish (and preferably international) Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations.
  • You are a leader that inspires and put a strong emphasis on preserving and cultivating culture throughout the company's exponential growth.
