Job Summary

connectalents the leading Recruitment & HRO company in MENA is currently hiring Lead Poultry Veterinarian to lead flock health and performance across our free-range broiler operations.

This is a hands-on field leadership role not a consulting or desk-based position. The selected candidate will be directly responsible for disease prevention flock monitoring biosecurity team leadership and reducing dependency on antibiotics through practical and validated natural health approaches.

We are seeking someone with strong clinical judgment operational discipline and the ability to make fast data-driven decisions in real farm conditions.


Key Responsibilities

Flock Health & Monitoring

  • Conduct daily flock health inspections and identify early warning signs
  • Monitor feed/water intake respiratory indicators gait droppings and overall bird behavior
  • Apply proactive intervention plans before issues escalate
  • Maintain structured daily health records and reporting

Natural & Preventative Health Systems

  • Develop and implement natural herbal and preventative health protocols
  • Reduce antibiotic dependency without impacting flock performance
  • Build seasonal health and supplementation programs
  • Document and validate field-tested solutions and outcomes

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and improve key KPIs including:
  • FCR
  • Mortality Rate
  • Growth Curve
  • Uniformity
  • Investigate root causes behind performance deviations
  • Develop practical intervention plans to achieve operational targets

Biosecurity & SOP Management

  • Enforce strict biosecurity procedures across farm operations
  • Execute and improve SOPs based on field observations and results
  • Develop clear operational instructions for farm labor teams

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and train farm laborers on health monitoring and protocols
  • Ensure discipline accountability and daily operational execution
  • Build a proactive and observant farm culture

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Submit concise weekly operational and health reports
  • Collaborate closely with nutrition and feed teams
  • Translate field observations into actionable operational decisions

Requirements


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Veterinary Medicine degree is mandatory
  • 7 years of experience in commercial broiler operations
  • Strong background in flock health management and disease prevention
  • Hands-on experience with natural herbal or alternative veterinary approaches
  • Previous experience leading farm teams in operational environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site under farm conditions
  • High attention to detail with strong execution discipline
