At Maersk we are driving the future of logistics by delivering seamless supply chain solutions and operational excellence across global markets. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Customs Clearance Supervisor to join our Fulfillment & Logistics Operations team.

About the Role

As a Customs Clearance Supervisor you will oversee customs clearance operations while leading a team responsible for ensuring efficient compliant and timely cargo processing. You will play a critical role in managing day-to-day operational activities maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting smooth logistics execution across warehouses and fulfillment operations.

This role requires strong operational expertise leadership capability and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily customs clearance and logistics operations activities.

  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations company policies and operational procedures.

  • Coordinate customs documentation shipment processing and cargo clearance activities.

  • Monitor warehouse and fulfillment operations including bonded warehouses inland depots CFS and CY facilities.

  • Lead and support operational teams to ensure timely task completion and service delivery.

  • Resolve operational issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.

  • Collaborate with internal departments customs authorities and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.

  • Support implementation of operational strategies policies and business plans.

  • Coach mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and operational efficiency.

  • Set priorities allocate workloads and ensure team productivity.

  • Maintain high levels of customer service and operational accuracy.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in customs clearance logistics operations warehousing or supply chain management.

  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures import/export regulations and logistics operations.

  • Experience supervising or leading operational teams.

  • Strong organizational problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and operational compliance.

  • Proficiency in logistics and operational systems is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English.
