Job Summary
The Network Engineer L3 serves as a senior technical escalation point for complex network and security-connectivity issues. The role drives root-cause analysis designs and reviews network changes improves resilience and performance and provides technical leadership across operations teams.
Lead resolution of high-impact cross-domain incidents and recurring network problems.
Design review and optimize routing switching segmentation VPN firewall connectivity and network resilience.
Perform deep packet analysis and correlate telemetry across network security infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Own technical change plans risk assessment implementation validation and rollback strategies.
Conduct root-cause analysis and produce actionable corrective / preventive recommendations.
Coach L1/L2 engineers improve operational standards and collaborate with vendors and client technical leaders.
Contribute to automation architecture documentation capacity planning and service improvement.
Extensive hands-on enterprise network engineering and complex troubleshooting experience.
Strong routing / switching BGP / OSPF high availability segmentation VPN firewall integration and packet-analysis skills.
Ability to lead major incident technical workstreams and communicate impact risk and remediation to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience with formal change management RCA and operational documentation.
Demonstrated judgment when making production changes and balancing urgency against risk.
CCNP / CCIE-level knowledge or equivalent experience; Palo Alto Gigamon / network packet broker cloud networking SD-WAN network automation and security architecture experience.
