In this role, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that our clients are receiving the highest level of care from case sign-up to settlement. Please send resumes directly via email to: [email protected] Key Responsibilities: * Case Management: Handle a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement. * Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them updated on case progress and addressing any questions or concerns. * Medical Records & Bills: Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, and other essential documents to support the case. * Demand Letters: Draft demand letters to insurance companies summarizing injuries, medical treatment, and damages. * Insurance Correspondence: Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, demands, and negotiations. * Lien & Subrogation Resolution: Identify, verify, and negotiate medical liens and subrogation claims. * Administrative Support: Assist attorneys with case-related tasks, including drafting correspondence, preparing settlement documents, and ensuring deadlines are met. * Investigation Support: Gather and analyze evidence, including police reports, witness statements, and medical documentation. * Organization & Documentation: Maintain case files in an organized and up-to-date manner, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or associate’s degree in paralegal studies (with paralegal certificate) preferred * 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal required * Proficient at using Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) * Familiarity with Filevine (Case Management Software) and general computer aptitude is a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills required * Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Understanding of Personal Injury case management * Able to maintain professional relationships through excellent interpersonal skills Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Benefits: * Competitive salary * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Professional development opportunities Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
