Meet your future team

You will join Group Strategy & M&A the internal strategy and advisory team of the VELUX Group based at our headquarters in Hørsholm. Reporting directly to the VP Group Strategy & M&A you will become part of a young high-performing team with backgrounds from leading consulting firms including McKinsey BCG and Bain.

Our team works on some of the most important strategic priorities facing the VELUX Group supporting the CEO Executive Group Management and senior leaders across the organisation. We operate as internal consultants and trusted advisors helping the organisation navigate evolving market dynamics identify growth opportunities and make informed strategic decisions. We combine analytical rigour with a pragmatic hands-on approach and collaborate closely with stakeholders across all parts of the business.

What we offer

As a Student Assistant you will gain valuable experience working with strategic initiatives across the VELUX Group while developing your analytical capabilities consulting skill set business understanding and stakeholder management skills. You will receive close guidance and feedback from experienced strategy professionals building a strong foundation in structured problem-solving analysis and executive communication.

More specifically your tasks will be to:

• Contribute to strategic projects across different parts of the VELUX value chain including Sales & Marketing Product Management R&D Supply Chain and Operations

• Conduct research and analyses related to markets competitors industry trends and business opportunities

• Assist in preparing business cases presentations recommendations and decision-support materials

• Collect structure and analyse data to generate actionable insights

• Contribute to workshops meetings and strategic discussions with stakeholders across the organisation

• Assist with project coordination and follow-up activities and support ad hoc analyses and tasks across ongoing strategic initiatives

• Help maintain and improve analytical tools templates and best practices within Group Strategy & M&A

What you will bring

You are curious analytical and eager to learn. You enjoy working with data and business challenges and are motivated by understanding how strategic decisions are made in a large international organisation. You are structured in your approach to work comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders and capable of balancing multiple priorities. At the same time you are a proactive team player who enjoys contributing to a positive and collaborative environment.

Moreover we expect that you:

• Are currently pursuing or about to start a relevant Masters degree within Business Administration Economics Finance Strategy Industrial Engineering or a related field

• Demonstrate strong academic performance and analytical capabilities

• Have an interest in strategy management consulting corporate development or business analysis

• Possess strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel and are comfortable working with data and quantitative analyses

• Can communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing

• Have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work

• Take initiative and enjoy working independently while also collaborating closely with others

• Communicate fluently in English both spoken and written

• Can work 1520 hours per week on fixed or pre-agreed days with flexibility both ways (e.g. around exams or peak project periods)
