Student Assistant (Global Procurement)

The position

As Student Assistant you will be part of the Procurement Excellence team and utilize your analytical skills along taking a curious and independent approach with your motivation to learn. You will play a crucial role in our dynamic team supporting both global category and local procurement managers. Your responsibilities will include managing and developing key tasks that are integral to ALKs global strategic procurement initiatives.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Become a super-user in ALKs Contract Management system (Scanmarket) supporting contract lifecycle management and compliance.
• Play an active role in the development and optimization of our Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes supporting key activities within the P2P project.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement stakeholders to support implementation of P2P improvements and ensure high data quality and process adherence.
• Support reporting on Scope 3 emissions and contribute to sustainability-related procurement insights.
• Design and maintain procurement data reports to support decision-making across global and local teams.
• Support document management archiving and governance processes in line with procurement policies.

You will be working up to 15 hours per week at our head office in the DTU Science Park in Hørsholm with direct public transport from Nørreport. Dates and times are flexible. During exam and project periods the working hours is flexible and adjusted according to your schedule.

Your profile

We expect that you have:

• Currently enrolled in a commercial technical or higher education program in Denmark.
• Strong interest or experience in procurement.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in Business Intelligence and procurement systems.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Structured service-minded timely and independent.
