Are you ready to take the next step in your M&A career and work on some of the most exciting deals in the market We are looking for an Engagement Manager to join the Strategy and Execution team at EY-Parthenon in Copenhagen.

In this role you will be part of a high-performing team that supports clients across the full deal lifecycle: from M&A strategy to execution. You will work closely with clients on complex high-impact engagements where your insights and capabilities will drive real results. At the same time you will play an active role in shaping our team contributing to a strong culture and supporting the development of future leaders.

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engagement Manager to join our Strategy and Execution team. The ideal candidate has 7-8 years of experience in M&A strategy and execution across both pre- and post-deal engagements. You bring experience from client-facing or in-house roles across the M&A cycle and operational delivery covering:

• Product and technology diligence
  • Assessment of the product portfolio and roadmap together with the underlying technology and R&D setup to evaluate commercial attractiveness/value creation potential
• IT diligence
  • Evaluating the IT environments from strategy to costs to identify risks and opportunities and to inform the investment case
• Technology integration and separation
  • Planning and managing technology workstreams from strategy to execution/operationalization
• Digital value creation
  • Assessing digital and AI-driven value creation opportunities and implications for the deal theses and post-deal value capture

As an Engagement Managerin the team you willlead complex M&A engagementsas well as developing our team so that they can realize their potential.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and contributetoa variety ofpre- and post-dealengagements including product and tech due diligence digital value creation as well as managing workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs

• Assistin aspects of business origination including pitches and presentations and working in project teamscomprisingother colleagues

• Contribute to our practice development initiatives supporting the continued focus on our team asa great placeto work

• Act as a role model and support development of junior team members coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities
