In April 2024 Norlys acquired Telia Denmark marking the beginning of an exciting telecom this role you will actively contribute to the ongoing carve-out process from Telia Company and facilitate the integration into Norlys. This presents a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Denmarks most exciting telecom journeys working hands-on with cutting-edge technologies while shaping the lifecycle of critical customer solutions.
Our mission is to connect customers through secure reliable and future-proof networks and for that we are seeking a SIM Technology Manager to join our Telco division in the Device SIM & Network Services Design department. This role invites you to be part of one of Denmarks most fascinating telecom journeys working at the intersection of technology security and customer experience.
Oversee eSIM lifecycle management
As Technology Manager you will drive development and lifecycle management of SIMs eSIMs and the Entitlement server in close cooperation with Technical Product Management Operations Vendors and CORE teams. You will own the solutions set requirements towards vendors and ensure compliance with GSMA standards while securing best-in-class customer experiences.
Your main responsibilities:
- Oversee lifecycle management of SIM/eSIM platforms (implementation feature updates migration decommissioning).
- Manage vendors including upgrades and roadmap alignment.
- Drive requirement setting for SIM eSIM and Entitlement services.
- Support solution handover to build and operations teams.
- Ensure solutions are implemented maintained documented and compliant with GSMA specifications.
- Conduct SIM/eSIM profile design and testing (SM-DP and SM-DS).
- Lead entitlement services and new entitlement-related projects. (lead related service development of new SIM/eSIM activities)
- Optimize processes costs and service delivery.
Drive SIM platform evolution
To excel in this position you must be fluent in English both spoken and written and have the ability to work from a Norlys location a minimum of three days per week. You should possess strong coordination and communication skills and be structured proactive and solution oriented. Being a team player with a collaborative mindset is essential for success in this role.
Qualities we are looking for:
- A solid educational background (e.g. Electrical/Software Engineering Computer Science) or extensive telco experience.
- Proven track record within the telecom domain preferably in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of GSMA standards and entitlement architectures.
- Experience in vendor management and collaboration.
- Ability to combine technical excellence with strategic thinking and stakeholder management.
- A structured and process-oriented mindset.
It is a prerequisite for employment that you can obtain security clearance with the FE and PET and you must be able to maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.
