About the job Senior Project Manager Operational Finance

As Senior Project Manager within Trygs Strategy Execution team under the CFO office you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the design and execution of the end-to-end Target Operating Model transition for Operational Finance across the Nordic region. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration managing the full project lifecycle and ensuring delivery excellence aligned with Trygs broader finance and business transformation agenda.

You will be involved in:

Leading a project team delivering part of the large-scale Target Operating Model transition projects focused on Operational Finance processes including OTC PTP VAT compliance and RTR

Own project planning risk management governance stakeholder engagement and timely delivery to meet strategic objectives

Collaborate deeply with finance functions IT business units external partners and senior leadership to align objectives and manage dependencies

Drive project teams with subject matter and process excellence specialists driving process standardization automation initiatives enhanced reporting and financial governance improvements as part of TOM implementation

Facilitate change management communication and capability-building activities to embed new ways of working across Nordic countries

Act as a mentor and advisor for other project managers and teams within the Strategy Execution portfolio fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making

Location: Copenhagen. The role involves significant Nordic collaboration including occasional travel to other offices.

About you Experienced Senior Project Manager with strategic ambition

To succeed in this role you bring more than 5 years of hands-on project management experience ideally from a top-tier consulting firm or a similarly demanding environment where strategic thinking leadership and stakeholder engagement are key. You have a strong track record of leading projects that deliver measurable business value and you are eager to drive strategic finance transformations at a senior level.

Ideal qualifications:

• A strategic and hands-on Senior Project Manager with 5 years of experience driving high-impact finance transformation programs preferably with direct experience in Target Operating Model transitions
• Strong problem solving skills with a proven ability to break down complex projects into ambitious milestones and actionable project plans
• Structured and proactive in approach ensuring smooth communication and alignment across leadership peers and project team.
• Ability to identify potential risks and work with project team to suggest mitigating actions to executive leadership
• An influential leader who thrives in complex multi-stakeholder environments with the confidence to engage senior executives and operational teams alike
• A skilled communicator and motivator fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Danish Swedish or Norwegian)
• Educated in Business Finance Economics or a related field with a passion for combining strategic thinking and detailed execution
