WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

You will be joining an innovative application development team within SimCorps Product Division. We provide a cloud native SaaS product built on Azure using modern development principles technologies and practices.

The product Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) has been operational for 3 years and based in client feedback and our own experience we have begun to lift the product to the next level modernizing architecture and tech stack so we can scale DEP for a much larger audience than we can today.

This is why we need you - to help design and build a new DEP 2.0 that can support the biggest clients asset managers across the globe.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Feature development
  • DevOps discussions and implementations.
  • Design and Architecture: Work together with other software engineers and architect to define and refine the product architecture and roadmap
  • Guide and support other team mates to ensure the spread of knowledge and experience.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and find ways to improve the existing software
  • Participate in support activities and client communication

To be successful in this job you are a very experienced developer. You have deep expertise in backend development and DevOps and you are familiar with frontend development. You are a hands-on developer who loves to create high-quality code and you can offer technical direction and leadership and collaboration with colleagues - architect and teammates - when creating an architecture a design or just troubleshooting.

WHAT WE VALUE

You properly have a degree in computer science and 10 years of experience in development. However how you gained your skills is of lesser importance even though we do expect you to be highly experienced in:

  • Backend development C#
  • DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools
  • Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Application architecture and design holistic view across front back and data
  • Agile development methodologies and collaboration

The bullets above will be your primary focus areas but in order to be successful you will collaborate with teammates that are specialized in:

  • Frontend development in Angular and TypeScript
  • Data engineering with Snowflake dbt and Airflow

Should these areas have your interest it will be possible to expand your expertise and learn and understand more about these areas.
