WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT  

As a Senior AI Engineer you will be instrumental in developing AI solutions that drive innovation enable data-driven decision-making improve operations and enhance customer experiences. You will bridge software engineering and machine learning focusing on model experimentation deployment and integration to create scalable efficient and reusable solutions.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include: 

• Develop and scale end-to-end AI applications and MLOps pipelines using your deep software engineering background.
• Design develop and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems from orchestration and tool integration to production deployment and monitoring.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines embedding workflows and semantic search solutions where appropriate.
• Research experiment with and develop classical and state-of-the-art AI models across NLP Computer Vision Deep Generative Models Graph Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning to improve and optimize JYSKs business processes.
• Collaborate closely with data AI and platform engineers on complex projects to integrate cutting-edge models into impactful AI products.
• Managing AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure optimal performance and resource efficiency. 
• Working with architects to refine AI solution design and contributing to solution planning phases. 
• Supporting end-users of AI solutions with a you build it you own it mindset.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING  

We are looking for a new colleague who: 

• Holds a degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Mathematics Physics or a related field. A PhD is considered an advantage.
• Has 5 years of industry experience in software engineering designing and implementing AI solutions at scale using Python.
• Has a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms with experience spanning both discriminative and generative models applied to structured data natural language and vision.
• Has experience developing deploying operating and monitoring AI models in production at scale preferably on Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent experience with Azure or AWS and a willingness to work with GCP).
• Has hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Building AI agents at scale integrated with advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Pre-training fine-tuning or post-training large language models (LLMs). Developing and deploying state-of-the-art generative AI solutions for computer vision in real-world environments.
• Works independently on complex technical challenges while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
