Our company is part of a vibrant and growing Danish quantum ecosystem and we collaborate closely with world-leading researchers atNovo Nordisk Foundation Quantum ComputingProgramme(NQCP) based at the Niels Bohr InstituteUniversity ofCopenhagen. The NQCPprogrammeis designed tofacilitateand drive research and innovations at multiple levels from developingmaterials andquantum processor technologiesthroughsolutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface and all the way to quantum algorithms and applications.
In close collaboration with NQCP and international partners we aim to pioneer chip-based fabrication and packaging methods forstate-of-the-artquantum processors.
Join our team
Asour newQuantum Photonics Engineer you will support ourphotonicscharacterization efforts and contributeto the development and validation of photonic devices and systems.
You will work hands-on with optical setups and advanced characterization tools executing measurementprotocolsand extracting performance metrics from devices and experimental systems. The role involves close collaboration with our materials growth photonics platform and nanofabrication teams as well as with international partners from industry and academia.
Your primary responsibilitiesandtasks may include:
- Conducting opticalmicroscopymeasurements onvariousmaterial platformsphotonicdevicesand chips.
- Developing refining and implementing protocols for precise and repeatable measurements
- Operatingmaintaining and calibrating optical measurement systems to ensure stable and reliable performance
- Supporting data acquisition automation and extraction of key device performance metrics
Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member with a strong experimental background in optics or photonics.
You are structured in your approach to work communicate clearly with colleagues and enjoy contributing to collaborative interdisciplinary projects. You are eager to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced research and engineering environment.
Your qualifications and experience may include:
- Masters degree or PhD in Physics Engineering Quantum Information Science Nanoscience ora relatedfield.
- Hands-on experience with lasers optical setups and laboratory instrumentation.
- Experience with automation data acquisition and data logging in Python.
