We are looking for a Platform Data Analyst to join the Asset Strategy Platforms team in Copenhagen. This is a role for someone who is ready to move beyond academic or early-career work and contribute meaningfully to a cross-functional product analytics team with guidance structure and room to grow.
You will work alongside senior analysts and platform product owners to support the measurement analysis and improvement of platform products that power Maersks asset and supply chain operations. You will be embedded in a team that will invest in your development and you will be expected to take real ownership of defined deliverables from day one.
Working under the direction of senior analysts and platform product owners you will:
- Build maintain and document Power BI dashboards and reports that track platform product performance and adoption metrics across internal stakeholder groups
- Extract clean and analyse data from large-scale operational data sources (including customer orders execution data and logistics transactions) to support defined analytical tasks and recurring reporting cycles
- Support the design and execution of benefit estimation and validation exercises for platform features under guidance from senior team members
- Contribute to experiment design and A/B testing by preparing data validating outputs and documenting findings
- Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction transformation and exploratory analysis within the teams Azure cloud data environment
- Translate analytical findings into clear summaries and visualisations for product and business stakeholders with support on framing and communication
- Participate in backlog refinement and analytics prioritisation discussions contributing structured problem descriptions and supporting workload estimates
- Learn and apply the teams standards for data quality documentation and analytical methodology
A degree in Mathematics Statistics Data Science Engineering Computer Science Economics or a related quantitative field
- 13 years of experience in a data analyst business analyst or similar role either in industry or in a structured internship or student assistant capacity
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI or a comparable visualisation tool
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with cloud data environments particularly Azure (Databricks or Synapse exposure is a plus)
This role is based in Copenhagen and sits within the Asset Strategy Platforms team working closely with Product Engineering and Business stakeholders.
