As Operations Manager South West Denmark you will have full accountability for the safe reliable and efficient operation of six biogas plants across the region. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape performance build strong leadership teams and drive continuous improvement across a critical part of our operations. You will lead a team of experienced Plant Managers and play a key role in strengthening operational excellence standardization and performance. As part of the Asset Management leadership team you will actively contribute to setting direction improving performance frameworks and ensuring strong collaboration across the Danish plant portfolio. Working closely with your peer leading North East Denmark you will help create a consistent high-performing and future-ready operations organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead coach and develop a team of 6 Plant Managers building strong and consistent leadership across all sites
Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability talent development and succession planning
Take full ownership of safe compliant and reliable operations across multiple plants
Deliver strong operational results including production targets asset availability and cost performance
Translate strategic asset management priorities into clear actionable plans and execution
Drive operational excellence through effective maintenance reliability and performance optimization
Standardize processes and implement best practices across all plants
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance
Champion a strong HSSE culture ensuring safety and compliance are embedded in everything you do
Act as escalation point for critical incidents ensuring learnings are captured and shared
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including HSSE Supply Chain Finance Engineering and Projects
Engage with external stakeholders such as authorities and partners where relevant
Contribute to the Asset Management leadership agenda including strategy execution and transformation initiative
What You Bring
Proven leadership experience in multi-site operations including leading leaders
Background in asset-intensive industries such as energy utilities or process industries
Strong track record of improving operational performance and delivering results
A people-focused leadership style with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
Experience navigating and leading change in complex environments
Strong understanding of HSSE and regulatory frameworks
Solid financial and commercial acumen with a focus on performance and cost optimization
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
Clear and confident communication style
Business fluency in Danish and English
