Netcompany Banking Services 

We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations mobile and internet banking payments investment management risk management compliance and open banking.

Responsibilities and technologies

Acting as a Product Owner for our Payment Services product area you will work closely with development teams customers and stakeholders to maximize product value and ensure strategic alignment.

You will become part of an influential team driving innovation within the payments domain collaborating with highly skilled specialists in both Denmark and Poland who are helping shape the future of banking solutions in the Nordics.

In this role you will apply and further develop your expertise while gaining hands-on experience with complex payment infrastructures and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with banks on commercial projects and use your business acumen to deliver strong results and strengthen partnerships between NBS and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilites will typically include:

  • Defining and prioritizing Product Backlog items to meet business requirements and ensure transparency and clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Writing clear acceptance criteria and definitions of done in close collaboration with the team to enable efficient development and implementation.
  • Communicating product vision and strategy within your area of responsibility to development teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with customers and sales teams to understand needs and ensure correct product positioning.
  • Contributing to strategic planning and roadmap development while driving innovation and continuous optimization of existing services and operations.

About you

We see you as a visionary business developer who can translate strategy requirements and customer needs into concrete initiatives. You can design clear conceptual solutions and communicate them effectively across addition you have strong capabilities in product decomposition and backlog management (preferably in Azure DevOps) as well as a solid understanding of finance and reporting. Furthermore you bring a leadership mindset with focus on customer value and team success.

To succeed in this role you have:

  • At least two years of experience in similar roles within product management product ownership business development or business analysis.
  • Experience in the banking and payments domain including areas such as national payment infrastructure SWIFT setups domestic and international payments clearing & settlement correspondent banking and/or cash management.
  • A relevant masters degree in business economics or a similar field.
  • Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
