Position Summary:

The North Europe Cluster Logistic and Warehousing Specialist supports the analysis monitoring and operational coordination of warehouse operations within the North Europe Cluster with specific responsibility for overseeing the logistics sites in Switzerland and Sweden. Working from Copenhagen and reporting to the Cluster CS&L Senior Manager the Specialist assists in delivering business objectives through effective logistics operations and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on providing operational support data-driven insights and day-to-day management of 3PL relationships for the Switzerland and Sweden locations ensuring performance consistency and supporting the Senior Manager in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

  • Site Oversight (Switzerland & Sweden): Serve as the operational lead for the Switzerland and Sweden warehouse sites. Act as the primary point of contact for the local 3PL providers to ensure daily service levels are met and resolve routine operational issues.

  • Operational Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational cost and service KPIs for the Switzerland and Sweden sites to identify performance gaps. Prepare regular performance reports for the Cluster CS&L Senior Manager.

  • Coordination & Collaboration: Facilitate communication between the North Europe and Regional Teams and warehouse sites. Assist in day-to-day logistics coordination including data reconciliation between SAP and 3PL Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Continuous Improvement: Support the execution of continuous improvement programs at the Switzerland and Sweden sites focusing on productivity efficiency metrics and sustainability initiatives as guided by the Senior Manager.

  • Co-Packing & Inventory Management: Assist in the planning of co-packing activities to ensure adequate stock levels and alignment with forecast demand. Support physical inventory counts and manage Slow-Moving and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB) processes for the assigned sites.

  • Budgeting & Reporting: Provide analytical support for logistics budget preparation and monitor site-specific spending. Gather and report on local logistics market developments as directed.

  • Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits (Quality SOX) at the Switzerland and Sweden locations ensuring all findings are tracked and addressed in a timely manner.

Working Relationships:

  • Internal: Works under the guidance of the Cluster CS&L Senior Manager; collaborates with the North Europe Cluster CS&L team Demand Planners and Customer Service Specialists.

  • External: Maintains close daily working relationships with 3PL providers and carriers at the Switzerland and Sweden sites to ensure operational flow.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management and reporting (Excel/Google Sheets/Looker).

  • Understanding of logistics and end-to-end supply chain processes.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple site requirements under the guidance of the Senior Manager.

  • Effective communication skills capable of influencing local 3PL stakeholders and documenting findings clearly.

  • Agile mindset willing to adapt to changing operational realities.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and an interest in leveraging new analytical and AI tools for process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Logistics Supply Chain Engineering or Business).

  • 24 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain in FMCG or a related industry.

  • Proficiency in Excel and standard reporting tools.

  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages (German Danish Swedish) is a strong advantage.
