The role

Role basics
Part-time position (student position 20 hours weekly)
Work location: Klareboderne 1 central Copenhagen
Reporting to: Jørgen Frederik Hovmand Senior Manager

The role youll play
As a Junior Analyst you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and work closely with experienced full-time employees. You will be involved in all stages of the investment process and the subsequent management of the portfolio supporting the asset management team.

The team youll be a part of
You will be part of our Junior Analyst team in Investment and Asset Management. The Junior Analyst team consists of 8 Junior Analysts with different educational backgrounds assisting our Investment and Asset Management addition you will also be a part of AIPs diverse student team consisting of 20 Junior Analysts in total with a strong community that offers various sports social and after-work activities all located in AIPs Copenhagen Office.

The Investment team is responsible for all aspects related to the execution of our investments from sourcing of investment opportunities through to analyses due diligence negotiation and final investment decision. Our investment strategy is rooted in our industry experience well-established relationships with counter parties/partners and flexibility to structure our investments differently from investment-to-investment.

The Asset Management team takes over the responsibility of an investment after the investment has been made. The team is responsible for managing optimising and creating the most value from the energy and infrastructure assets in the AIP portfolio while also focusing on the assets sustainability performance.

  • Providing support to the Investment team on preparation of presentation materials on potential investments.
  • Providing support to the Asset Management team in relation to our existing investments.
  • Conducting financial analysis and valuations related to new investments and/or our existing investments.
  • Assisting full-time colleagues on strategic ad-hoc tasks.

We are looking for 2nd or 3rd year BSc students with a focus on finance or economics.

  • You have experience working with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You can communicate in clear verbal and written English.
