Internship for Bachelor of Engineering students, Operations & Infrastructure

At Netcompany we are looking for IT engineering students to join our Infrastructure department for an exciting and challenging internship. The internship is a paid 20-week placement starting on 1February 2027. 

Responsibilities and Technologies 

Our Infrastructure department consists of several teams working with operations across a range of technical areas including Linux Windows Cloud and Infrastructure covering areas such as networking servers backup and storage. You will have ample opportunity to work with different technologies and develop your technical skills while also gaining valuable business insight. 

You will become an integral part of our Infrastructure department where you will have your own areas of responsibility as well as daily opportunities to collaborate and exchange knowledge with experienced specialists. You will get close to the core of our operations and help ensure the stability monitoring and optimisation of systems that support many critical solutions across society. 

You will work hands-on with modern enterprise infrastructure addition you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and contribute to both your professional and personal development in close collaboration with your future colleagues. Your responsibilities will vary depending on which area you are interested in becoming part of. Tasks may include: 

• Ensuring stable operations for many critical solutions 

• Integrating security into every aspect of your work and working with scripting and automation to create well-maintained and future-proof processes and systems 

• Improving and optimising workflows solutions and tasks 

• Managing operating and selecting the best platforms to meet current and future needs 

About You

• You are studying for a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering IT or a related field

As a prerequisite for employment you must be eligible to obtain and maintain PET security clearance.
