About the Role
Chartering Operations plays a critical role in ensuring thesafe reliable and efficient performanceof Maersks global time-chartered (TC) fleet.
This role leads teams acrossCopenhagen and Mumbai combiningoperational oversight with strategic governance. You will drive fleet performance strengthen governance and advance adata-driven performance-focused operating model while shaping future ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Governance
  • Lead and develop Chartering Operations teams across locations
  • Ensure safe compliant and efficient fleet operations
  • Strengthen governance processes and ways of working
  • Drive accountability collaboration and capability development
Fleet Performance & Escalations
  • Drivereliability safety and operational performanceof the TC fleet
  • Lead escalations across technical compliance and network impacts
  • Ensure structured follow-up on incidents and recurring challenges
  • Support cross-functional performance improvement initiatives
Owner & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships withOwners Managers and internal stakeholders
  • Lead operational and performance discussions with partners
  • Represent Chartering Operations in cross-functional forums
  • Drive solution-oriented handling of disruptions and escalations
Performance & Data Enablement
  • Strengthenperformance governance and reporting frameworks
  • Enabledata-driven decision-makingacross operations
  • Support insights for reliability energy and compliance performance
  • Align reporting structures systems and methodologies
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
  • Drive initiatives to improvegovernance reliability and performance
  • Simplify processes and enhance operational transparency
  • Support transformation towards aperformance-driven organisation
What Were Looking For
  • Proven leadership inglobal operational environments
  • Strong experience incontainer shipping chartering or fleet operations
  • Commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience managingescalations and cross-functional coordination
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate complexity into action
  • Strong communicator across operational technical and leadership settings
  • Track record ingovernance performance management and continuous improvement
Preferred:
  • Container operations exposure
  • Experience withperformance analytics / data-driven operations
  • Understanding ofthird-party management
  • Background intransformation or operational excellence initiatives
