Group Financial Controller

About the job

Do you want to have a central role in an international organization where you will be part of some of our key projects e.g. CSRD As the new Group Financial Controller you will be part of KMDs journey towards optimizing existing and new processes in the Accounting and Controlling function with your strong professional skills.

You will join the Group Reporting team which currently consists of six engaged and skilled employees. The Group Reporting team has a central role regarding month-end-close internal and external reporting consolidation bank forecasting and CSRD.

Your tasks include among other things:

• Lead our CSRD project (financial part)
• Month-end and year-end-closing task related to closing on Group level
• Handling Cash pool and cashflow tasks including forecasting and dialogue with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain internal policies procedures and internal controls on group level ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
• Participation in accounting projects across the organization
• Ad hoc accounting and audit tasks.

The role is rooted in the Finance department where we have a strong focus on efficient month-end-close being compliant within several areas and focusing on doing our compliance tasks most efficient e.g. by using new technologies.

You should also expect to build strong relationships with many stakeholders working with reporting such as our global owners the NEC Corporation and internal stakeholders in the business and in back-office functions.

In other words KMD offers a unique opportunity to help shape KMDs further development within Finance.

About you

To succeed as Group Financial Controller it is necessary that you are proactive and take responsibility for several finance tasks with a keen sense of high quality in deliveries. Furthermore you have experience in optimization and automation of processes within finance and accounting.

Experience with CSRD is a plus

You most likely have a HD (R) or masters degree in finance accounting or auditing or a related field and proven experience of 3 years within audit or finance/accounting.

Most importantly we are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a position where compliance accurate communication and optimization are the focus.

In addition you show independent initiative commitment decisiveness and have a good overview.
