The Department of Computer Science at the Technical Faculty of IT and Design Aalborg University is looking to appoint a FullProfessorstartingApril12027or soon thereafter.

We are looking for applicantsthatareable todocument a high degree of original academic production at an international levelin computer scienceincluding supervision of PhD experience from teaching atdifferent levelsincludestests/exams course/study programme management as well as contributions to the development of teaching activities and teaching are a clear communicatorand hasdocumented skillsasgroup a person you have good interpersonal skills areinclusive and team-orientedand able to contribute toa good workenvironment.
Emphasis is placed on the extent to whichyou havedeveloped the academic discipline from a research and teaching perspective.
Emphasis may moreover be placed ontheyourability to carry out and develop research-basedactivitiesin relation to the universitys external cooperation.

The Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University is highly regarded in Denmark among researchers students and external partners due to its leading research education and collaboration activities. The department currently employs more than 165 academic staff and approximately 20 administrative staff and has around 1100 students.

Salary and terms of employment
The employment isin accordance withtheMinisterial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order)andthe Ministerial Order on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities (in Danish)andprotocol on certain terms of employment of academic staff at universities (in Danish).
Salary and terms of employment arein accordance withthe collective agreement between the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations and the state (AC collective agreement) (only in Danish)andprotocol on certain terms of employment of academic staff at universities (only in Danish).
There is a mutual probationary period of 3 months for the position.
