Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and sourcing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.


Youll play a pivotal role in defining and executing sourcing strategies to meet project and customer needs ensuring seamless supplier relationships and procurement processes. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business such as Project Procurement Managers and Global Commodity Managers facilitate discussions between project teams and suppliers and lead project negotiations from RFQ to supplier award and much more.

Well look to you for:

  • Supporting supplier panel relationships through periodic reviews.

  • Preparing and launching Requests for Quotations (RFQs) with suppliers using the relevant tools.

  • Managing supplier panel relationships including negotiation specific agreements and supplier QCDT (Quality Cost Delivery and Technology) performance.

  • Monitoring day-to-day supplier performance and addressing issues proactively.

  • Ensuring achievement of QCD targets managing Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) and handling claims.

  • Managing initial supplier issues before escalating to the line manager

  • Respecting Alstom Transports code of ethics and guidelines

  • Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.

  • Supporting Commodity Managers during the tender phase and representing commodities in projects platforms and solutions.

  • Leading project negotiations from RFQ to supplier award Go order and contractualization.

  • Degree in Purchasing Engineering Project Management Finance Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Experience or understanding of Procurement and/or Project Management (minimum 2 years)

  • Knowledge of supplier relationship management procurement processes and commodity strategies.

  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Office tools

  • Strong communication skills and team-player mindset

  • Results-driven and adaptable approach to work

  • Initiative taker with hands-on problem-solving abilities

  • Fluent in English; Danish is an asset.
