Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain robust controls and safeguards across revenue processes in line with the Financial Controls Framework.

  • Review and reconcile revenue deductions accruals and related accounts to ensure accounting accuracy.

  • Apply appropriate revenue accounting policies across diverse business models and transaction types.

  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze challenge and improve revenue accounting processes.

  • Support SAP enhancement initiatives to streamline revenue transactions and improve operational efficiency.

  • Lead month-end and quarter-end reviews of revenue accruals and Gross-to-Net movements.

  • Serve as the trusted advisor for revenue accounting matters within your area of responsibility.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Finance or a related discipline.

  • Professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant Certified Public Accountant or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

  • Experience in finance accounting or financial reporting roles.

  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and revenue accounting principles.

  • Experience working with SAP Financial Accounting and Business Intelligence systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience within a Big Four audit or advisory environment.

  • Experience supporting process improvement automation or finance transformation initiatives.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 808381 -CZK Annual gross.

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives such as relevant skills competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
