Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join a long-term enterprise development project. You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining modern Java-based backend applications building scalable microservices and delivering high-quality reliable software in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain Java-based backend applications following software engineering best practices.
Write clean efficient maintainable and testable code.
Design and implement REST APIs and microservices.
Perform code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards.
Develop unit and integration tests.
Debug troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the application lifecycle.
Support application deployments production monitoring and incident resolution.
Collaborate closely with developers architects QA engineers and other stakeholders.
Participate in continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions.

Requirements:

Strong commercial experience with Java.
Solid experience with Spring Boot.
Good understanding of REST APIs microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (MySQL).
Experience with message brokers (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ ActiveMQ).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git and DevOps practices.
Experience with Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Experience writing unit and integration tests.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience with event-driven architecture.
Experience working on cloud-native applications.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Experience with financial or enterprise-scale systems.
