Python Backend Developer, Czechia based

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join an existing enterprise application development project.

The role is primarily focused on hands-on Python backend development APIs and system integrations with additional involvement in AI/LLM-powered functionality. You will contribute to the further development and integration of an existing AI-assisted validation application.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend functionality using Python
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems and external data sources
• Develop validation and business logic
• Support integration of LLM / GenAI capabilities
• Work with AI-assisted workflows and document processing
• Write automated and integration tests
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues
• Work with an existing codebase and architecture
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Python development
• Backend application development experience
• FastAPI Django or Flask
• REST APIs and system integrations
• SQL / PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Automated and integration testing
• Git and CI/CD
• Docker
• Some practical experience with Generative AI / LLM integration
• Ability to quickly understand an existing codebase
• English communication skills
