ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

You will join the Airports Product Project Office (PPO) within the Airports Business Unit supporting the execution of key initiatives across the portfolio.

The PPO drives strategy execution product lifecycle governance and performance management across the Business this role you will manage a varied portfolio of projectsrangingfrom product development initiatives and lifecycle activitiesto business transformation integrations (e.g. acquisitions) and internal improvement initiatives.

This is a hands-on deliveryfocusedrole requiring strong core project management capability adaptability and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Deliver projects that support Airports BUobjectivesby:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of defined projects of medium size and complexity

  • Contributing to larger transformation or programme initiatives under the guidance of senior roles

  • Providing structure governance and visibility across initiatives

  • Supporting product lifecycle activities and business transformation

  • Ensuring delivery against agreed scope timelines cost and quality

WHAT YOULL DO:

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Manage projects across their full lifecycle: initiation planning execution monitoring and closure

  • Deliverclearly defined workstreams or projects and contribute to broader programmes whererequired

  • Define scope milestones deliverables and success criteria

  • Track progress against plan and implement corrective actions where needed

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop project plans timelines and resource requirements

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders to shared objectives

  • Identifyand manage dependencies across workstreams and projects

  • Provide input into planning activities including capacity and prioritisation

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Product Managers Engineering Operations and Business stakeholders

  • Ensure clear communication of project status risks and decisions

  • Build strong relationships across geographically distributed teams

Governance Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain key project artefacts (plans RAID logs status reports dashboards)

  • Provide regular reporting to stakeholders and leadership forums

  • Ensure adherence to internal project management and product lifecycle processes

  • Support Steering Committees and governance forums through structured updates

Risk Issue & Change Management

  • Identify assess and manage risks and issues proactively

  • Implement mitigation plans and escalate when needed

  • Manage scope changes in line with agreed governance processes

Product Lifecycle & Transformation Support

  • Support product development and lifecycle activities (e.g. readiness go-live support)

  • Contribute to transformation initiatives such as:

  • Product portfolio improvements

  • Operational/process optimisation

  • Integration activities (e.g. post-M&A)

  • Assistin the execution of initiatives related to portfolio optimisation operational improvements or integration programmes

Working Approach and Scope

  • Works within established governance frameworks processes and priorities with guidance on scope and prioritisation

  • Accountable for day-to-day project delivery and coordination ensuring progress visibility and control

  • Coordinatewithcross-functional contributors but no formal people management responsibility

  • Provides input into planning business case development and forecasting.

  • Escalate complex risks dependencies and decisions appropriately with recommended actions

  • Support larger programmes and transformation initiatives whilemaintainingownership of assigned deliverables

Qualifications External

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 4 years experience in project management preferably within an IT services or technology environment

  • Proventrack recordof delivering medium-scale projects end-to-end

  • Strong organisational planning and prioritisation skills

  • Experience working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

NICE-TO- HAVE

  • Experience in aviation airports or transport IT solutions

  • Exposure to product development or product lifecycle environments

  • Experience supporting transformation or integration initiatives

  • Familiarity with Agile Waterfall or hybrid delivery models

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2)
