Core Responsibilities
In this role you will lead the Maintenance Technology team(6-7 direct reports)ensuringreliable production equipment while driving the implementation ofnew technologies engineering standards and manufacturing improvements across our Kladno factory.
Moreover you will:
Lead technical projects and provide engineeringexpertiseto support local manufacturing initiatives.
Deploy andvalidatenew machinery technologies and global engineering standards in partnership with R&D.
Manage equipment lifecycle activities including production line relocations machinery transfers and asset optimization.
Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure successful implementation of new products into production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance reliability and operational efficiency.
Support manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance and effective escalation for complex equipment challenges.
Collaborate with engineering teams across the LEGO Group to share knowledge align best practices and implement global solutions.

Our Maintenance Technology team keeps our production running safely reliably and efficiently. We combine engineering expertise with continuous improvement to maximize equipment performance support the introduction of new technologies and ensure our manufacturing processes are ready for todays production needs as well as tomorrows innovations. Working closely with Operations Engineering and global colleagues we help transform ideas into reliable manufacturing solutions.
Do you have what it takes
Background in technical environment (e.g. Maintenance Engineering or similar industrial setting)
Exposure to technical projects including coordination or participation in delivery activities
Basic understanding of project management principles and structured ways of working
Awareness of risk management and change management in operational environments
Familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement principles (e.g. 5S SMED PDCA waste reduction mistake-proofing)
Strong coordination and communication skills with a proactive hands-on mindset
Drive curiosity and willingness to learn and develop in a technical leadership role
Fluency in Czech and English is a must
What would be a plus:
Experience in informal leadership mentoring or supporting colleagues in a team environment
Participation in improvement initiatives such as root cause analysis (RCA) or Kaizen activities
Exposure to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM a structured approach to improving equipment reliability and involving operators in basic maintenance)
Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles or similar operational excellence frameworks
Experience using data tools (e.g. Excel Power BI) tosupport decision-making
