Network Engineer

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team delivering network services to enterprise customers across the Nordic region.
You will become part of a team of six highly skilled engineers responsible for maintaining supporting and improving complex network environments. This role combines day-to-day operational support with participation in infrastructure projects providing opportunities to work with modern enterprise networking technologies and diverse vendor solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise network environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents while ensuring agreed service levels are met.
Participate in the implementation of network changes and infrastructure projects.
Configure maintain and optimize network infrastructure with a strong focus on firewall technologies.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
Collaborate with customers project teams and other technical specialists.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in change management and problem management activities.
Contribute to service improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Around 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
Strong knowledge of routing switching and TCP/IP networking.
Strong experience with firewall administration and troubleshooting.
Experience working in complex large-scale enterprise environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues independently.
Experience working within ITIL-based operational environments is an advantage.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an international team.
Professional working proficiency in English.
