Your area of work
The Client & ISV Readiness Clearing team is dedicated to serving multiple legal entities within Deutsche Börse Group which necessitates the management of a diverse series of projects to ensure market readiness. As Market Readiness Project Stream lead you will play a pivotal role in overseeing these projects ensuring that established project management standards and best practices are consistently applied throughout. You will act as a stream lead working in close collaboration with other stream leads within the team to facilitate harmonized project delivery share insights and drive continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying and addressing any gaps in existing processes or standards ensuring that project management procedures are not only defined but also implemented effectively.
The role also encompasses managing stakeholder relationships thoroughly understanding project deliverables and preparing detailed roll-out plans. This includes developing comprehensive communication plans that are aligned with stakeholders to ensure clarity and coordinated execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Tracking Reporting and Documentation: Monitor and track project progress performance and milestones aligning with stakeholders on target dates for timely delivery. Clearly communicate project status and updates and maintain a central repository for project documentation lessons learned and communications to ensure information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Stakeholder and Client Engagement: Effectively manage and communicate with stakeholders and clients to support successful project outcomes. Prepare and present project scope updates and roll-out plans in client committees gather client feedback in collaboration with the Market Access Solution Team and provide guidance to clients and Independent Software Vendors on Eurex Clearing services and interfaces such as FIXML and AMQP.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of clearing procedures and risk models stay current with the evolving regulatory landscape and review or develop content for relevant documents circulars and project announcements.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify assess and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project scope or delivery. Proactively report and resolve issues as they arise to safeguard project objectives.
Your profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry preferably in a project stream lead role
- First hands-on experience supporting projects or workstreams (e.g. owning small work packages preparing materials or tracking actions) and the motivation to grow further in project work.
- Strong understanding of clearing and risk topics; familiarity with related processes or systems (e.g. C7 R7 Prisma methodology) is an advantage with willingness to learn on the job.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal; German language skills are a plus.
- Comfortable creating clear PowerPoint decks and written materials and adapting content to different stakeholder groups with guidance.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with solid time management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to complete assigned tasks independently after onboarding and guidance.
- Motivated and proactive with a hands-on mindset and the confidence to ask questions raise issues early and contribute ideas.
