Job Summary
Legal Counsel EMEA
We are recruiting a Legal Counsel EMEA to join a leading multinational company operating in the industrial and equipment sector with a strong international presence.
In this role you will play a strategic part in supporting EMEA operations working closely with commercial teams and multiple business functions to ensure legal guidance is aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with a particular focus on supply and distribution agreements;
- Support commercial teams throughout contract negotiation processes;
- Propose improvements to contract templates and internal contracting procedures;
- Assist the business in contract enforcement matters including warranty claims compensation requests and penalties enforcement;
- Proactively identify legal risks and provide practical business-oriented solutions;
- Monitor regulatory developments and support cross-functional compliance initiatives;
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal analysis on commercial and contractual matters;
- Ensure legal advice is aligned with operational and business realities.
Candidate Profile
- Masters degree in Law;
- Minimum of 35 years of relevant professional experience;
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law;
- Fluent in English both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of an additional European language is considered a plus;
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Business-oriented approach with the ability to provide pragmatic legal support.
