Research and Teaching Area: Electrical Engineering Control Automation Cybernetics and Robotics

The Department of Agricultural Food and Environmental Engineering is part of the Faculty of AgriSciences at MENDELU and focuses on educational and research activities in areas such as the operation and utilization of agricultural machinery for livestock farming agricultural machinery for crop production and plant protection technology for food production and feed waste technologies and environmental engineering agricultural and industrial buildings electrical engineering and automation building technical equipment technical expertise and valuation.

What will your job include

• Conducting lectures seminars and excursions in the fields of electrical engineering and automation subjects
• Collaboration on organizing teaching and professional events
• Testing and verifying students knowledge
• Supervising consulting and reviewing bachelor theses
• Collaboration on scientific research and creative activities in the given area
• Collaboration on the preparation and implementation of grant and other projects
• Participation in conferences
• Engagement in activities related to the universitys third role

What do we expect from you

• Higher education at least at the bachelors level focused on electrical engineering automation cybernetics and robotics
• Excellent knowledge of the Czech language ability to teach in Czech
• Basic practical experience in teaching at the university level (e.g. preparation of electrical engineering laboratory tasks for students) willingness and ability to teach publication activity in the field of electrical engineering automation robotics professional overview and practical experience in electrical engineering automation cybernetics and robotics
• Professional qualification in electrical engineering according to Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll. (supervising laboratory exercises with students in the electrical engineering lab)
• Interest in effectively transmitting knowledge and skills to students
• Ability to lecture lead seminars and engage listeners
• Proactive and responsible approach to work attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Knowledge of PC use (MS Office MATLAB searching in professional databases)
• Drivers license group B (active driver)

What research experience do we require

• Basic practical work experience in research project resolution (TAČR OPTAK NAZV)
