Junior Cybersecurity Engineer Developer (fm)

Join our international Cyber Defense Center and help us to develop a Threat Information Platform that processes enriches and distributes Indicators of Compromise at scale.

Are you starting your career in cybersecurity and eager to work with real-world threat intelligence data The international Cyber Defense Center of Deutsche Telekom is looking for a junior engineer to contribute to projects around our Threat Information Sharing Platform (TISP). In this role you will work with IoC ingestion pipelines enrichment and vetting services and API-based threat intelligence tooling supported by an experienced team. • Contribute to development and maintenance of TISP platform components and API services
• Support ingestion vetting and enrichment workflows for Indicators of Compromise (IoC)
• Assist with onboarding of new data sources
• Help maintain and improve documentation for TISP services and internal workflows
• Collaborate with SOC CERT and threat intelligence teams across national companies

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python Bash or Go
• Basic knowledge of computer networking and fundamental network protocols
• Understanding of SQL
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in English

• Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with search and analytics platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus Grafana preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud environments; Google Cloud Platform is a plus
