Are you finishing up your Computer Science degree (or recently graduated) and wondering how to bridge the gap between academic theory and world-class cloud engineering Do you know your way around a terminal understand the basics of containerization and possess an insatiable curiosity for how massive infrastructure scales

At DataSentics we dont expect you to be an AWS or Databricks wizard on day one. We will teach you the cloud specifics. What we do need is your solid foundation in CS basics a firm grasp of Docker and a driving eagerness to learn engineering right. You will work alongside senior architects automating everything through code and building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of data and AI applications.

What Youll Do (And Learn)

As a Junior Cloud Platform Engineer you will be embedded into an agile team (25 people) where mentorship is a priority. You will gradually take ownership of:

• Infrastructure as Code: Learn how to design and spin up entire cloud environments (primarily AWS/Azure) using Terraform.
• Modern Containerization: Move beyond local containers. Youll use your basic Docker knowledge to help manage and orchestrate services using Kubernetes.
• Automating Delivery: Build break and fix CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab) to automate software deployments.
• DataOps & AI Infrastructure: Get hands-on exposure to advanced data platforms like Databricks learning how to secure monitor and scale them.

What Were Looking For

The Must-Haves:

• CS Background: You are currently studying or have recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science Informatics or a closely related technical field.
• Docker Basics: You understand containerization concepts and know how to write a basic Dockerfile.
• Eager to Learn: You have a high curiosity velocity. When something breaks you want to dig into the why and Basic Scripting: You know the fundamentals of Python or Bash for basic automation tasks.

Nice-to-Haves (Great if you have them well teach you if you dont):

• Any school projects or hobby repositories showcasing git workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Theoretical knowledge or minor hands-on experience with any public cloud platform (AWS Azure GCP).
