Java Developer

We are currently looking for 4 Java Developers to support the following activities:

Development and implementation of technical integrations between the FaktorZehn quotation and policy management system a new property and casualty insurance system and the relevant peripheral systems.

Responsibilities

Java software development within the new property and casualty insurance quotation and policy management system

Integration with the claims management system including technical data provision contract data lead insurance and participation data

Integration with the reinsurance system including reinsurance determination premium data and contract data

Integration with the document generation and printing system including technical data provision and dynamic document structures

Integration with the partner management system including development of creditor-related functionality

Integration with the Data Warehouse including technical data provision and mapping data to target structures

Implementation of SOAP and REST web services

Test-driven and behaviour-driven development using TDD and BDD

CI/CD implementation using the specified toolchain

Mandatory Requirements

Strong experience with Java SE/EE and in-depth backend development expertise

Experience developing web services and interfaces using SOAP and REST

Experience integrating peripheral systems such as claims reinsurance document generation partner management and Data Warehouse systems

Experience with test-driven development and behaviour-driven development: TDD and BDD

Experience with SQL databases

Experience with CI/CD and build tools including Jenkins Docker Maven Gradle Git and Artifactory

Business-fluent German

Preferred Requirements

Experience with the FaktorZehn product suite including IPM IPS and F10-IOS or with a comparable standard property and casualty insurance quotation and policy management system

Experience with Vaadin and Spring Boot

Experience mapping data to target structures for Data Warehouse integrations

Experience in property and casualty insurance primary insurance or policy management system environments
