Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Business Consultant to join an international software development environment and support projects across requirements management business analysis delivery coordination and stakeholder communication.

The role combines hands-on work with business requirements and user stories with involvement in project planning estimations development management tools documentation and collaboration between business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Gather analyze consolidate and clarify business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
  • Manage requirements throughout the full software development lifecycle.
  • Organize and facilitate requirements clarification sessions with business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Support pre-project activities including requirements definition project scoping and effort estimation.
  • Cooperate with Project Managers on project planning delivery approach risks issues and dependencies.
  • Manage requirement changes and evaluate their impact on project scope timeline and effort.
  • Maintain and manage development and requirements management tools such as Jira Confluence and RTC.
  • Ensure requirements user stories documentation and project information remain transparent traceable and up to date.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders project management and technical teams.
  • Coordinate and maintain project and product documentation.
  • Participate in the creation and extension of data models.
  • Cooperate with technical teams on solution approaches technologies libraries and development methodologies.
  • Communicate technical decisions and concepts in clear business language.
  • Support UX/UI discussions and prepare basic low-fidelity wireframes where needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams customers and other project stakeholders.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues through coaching mentoring and internal training.
  • Contribute to improvements in requirements management processes methodologies and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in IT Business Consulting Business Analysis Requirements Management or a similar role within software development projects.
  • Excellent requirements gathering analysis and documentation skills.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Good understanding of software development processes and project delivery.
  • Practical experience working in Agile / Scrum environments; knowledge of Waterfall delivery is an advantage.
  • Experience with Jira Confluence RTC or similar project and requirements management tools.
  • Experience with project scoping planning and effort estimation.
  • Ability to work closely with Project Managers developers architects and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data modelling and ability to contribute to data model discussions.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and low-fidelity wireframing.
  • Strong stakeholder management presentation facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office particularly Word Excel PowerPoint and MS Project.
  • Ability to effectively use AI tools and agents to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • University degree preferably in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
  • English at B2/C1 level or higher both spoken and written.
