Head Greenkeeper

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Head Greenkeeper to oversee the maintenance and overall condition of a prestigious golf resort in the Czech Republic. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional playing standards while leading and managing the greenkeeping team. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all golf course areas including greens tees fairways and landscaped spaces
• Plan and supervise turf maintenance renovations and new landscaping projects
• Oversee irrigation and drainage systems ensuring optimal functionality
• Monitor and control turf health including fertilization pest and disease management
• Lead organize and supervise the greenkeeping team including scheduling and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards
• Maintain equipment materials and operational cost records
• Coordinate with resort management on course improvements and development

Qualifications

• Proven experience in golf course or sports turf maintenance

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and turf care practices
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work during peak seasons
• Valid driving license (Category B; T/C is an advantage)
• English or German is an advantage

Pay range and compensation package

Euro 2675 gross/month Up to Euro 400 monthly performance bonus
