Deputy Chief Maintenance Technician

Location: Prague Czech Republic
Salary: CZK 60000 (2450 EUR) gross up to CZK 15000 (600 EUR) gross bonus

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Chief Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance operations of our hotel. You will help ensure that all hotel facilities equipment and technical systems are well maintained and operating safely and efficiently.

Salary: CZK 60000 (2450 EUR) gross CZK 15000 (600 EUR) bonus

Total Package: CZK 75000 (3050 EUR) gross per month)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Chief Maintenance Technician to join a group of hotels in the Czech Republic.

This role requires a Czech-speaking candidate and is responsible for ensuring the smooth technical operation maintenance and safety of the hotel facilities.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department
• Plan organise and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure proper operation maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities and technical systems
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors suppliers and service providers
• Schedule and ensure completion of mandatory inspections certifications and statutory compliance
• Monitor the technical condition of the property and propose improvements and cost optimisation measures
• Prepare maintenance plans technical reports and budget inputs
• Manage maintenance inventory tools spare parts and procurement of materials
• Respond promptly to technical emergencies and operational issues
• Work closely with Hotel Management and operational departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
• Ensure compliance with health & safety fire protection and all applicable regulations
• Lead motivate and develop the maintenance team
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Hotel Management

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance engineering or technical operations
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and hotel infrastructure
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and external contractors
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Fluent Czech language required; English is an advantage
