Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a long-term project for an international client. The role will focus on working with business and operational data translating requirements into meaningful analysis and supporting data-driven decision-making.

  • Location: Remote from Czechia or Slovakia (travel to Prague may only be required for onboarding)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends patterns and business insights
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and data outputs
  • Prepare reports dashboards and ad-hoc analyses
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
  • Validate data quality consistency and completeness
  • Work with multiple data sources and support data integration activities
  • Define and document business metrics KPIs and reporting requirements
  • Cooperate with business stakeholders developers data specialists and other technical teams
  • Investigate data discrepancies and support troubleshooting of data-related issues
  • Contribute to improving reporting and analytical processes

Requirements

  • Commercial experience as a Data Analyst BI Analyst or similar
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working with relational databases and complex datasets
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data structures
  • Experience creating reports dashboards and business-oriented analyses
  • Ability to translate business questions into clear analytical requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently within a distributed international team
  • Czech or Slovak language
  • Good working knowledge of English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power BI or another BI / visualization platform
  • Experience with ETL / data transformation processes
  • Basic understanding of data warehouses and modern data platforms
  • Experience working with financial credit or other data-intensive systems
  • Python knowledge for data analysis or automation
