Job Summary

The Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients helping them unlock value from data and research whilst driving account growth through strong client relationships strategic planning and new business opportunities. The Consultant will manage the end-to-end delivery of YouGov Shopper research projects translating insights into actionable recommendations and work closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive an exceptional level of service and support. This role is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded research and insights professional to combine consultancy client management and business development responsibilities within a leading global market research business.

You Will:

Account Management / Sales

  • Actively approaches the definition of client needs its further analysis resulting into presentations and implementation of results within clients organization.

  • Detects analyzes and identifies market opportunities suggests solutions how to utilize these market potentials for YouGov.

  • Regularly meets manages and builds client relationships with existing clients to ensure long term cooperation.

  • Is responsible for planning strategy and activities of assigned portfolio of clients (Account Planning) to achieve necessary financial results.

  • Independently and pro-actively engages in acquisition process or up-selling.

  • In cooperation with other local or regional divisions of YouGov tries to create and secure best possible position of YouGov for cooperation with clients aiming at increasing clients loyalty towards YouGov.

Client Service / Consulting

  • Provides agreed and required service to existing or new clients.

  • Comprehensively covers design planning objectives structure budget monitoring of progress and realization of projects incl. preparation of proposal documents contracts presentations and deliverables invoicing instructions etc.

  • Analyzes research and other available data and transforms them into value add information.

  • Is responsible for final deliverables to clients in all forms written electronically or in person via personal presentations especially concerning value add and recommendations.

  • Always cares about highest quality of work and complies with agreed terms of projects.

Cooperation

  • Works closely with Data & Reporting department of YouGov Shopper particularly regarding accurate and timely briefing of client projects and with business development and Europanel to utilize clients potential better.

  • If necessary cooperates with YG Shopper Operations Marketing Communications & PR and provides adequate support.

  • Is involved in effective communication within division and other relevant departments of YouGov. Informs his/her superior about serious circumstances which has direct or indirect influence on projects division or company.

General part

  • Seeks to maintain and develop according to agreed individual development plan.

  • Actively approaches his/her development knowledge skills also thanks to self-study.

  • Actively participates in department & company meetings seminars and conferences locally and in abroad (subject to approval by superior).

  • Strives to prepare and execute projects while taking into account financial expediency for YouGov as company

  • Maintains and updates data on clients within YouGovs database and archives relevant documents

  • Prepares documents and cooperates in the preparation of various internal and external reports (records of proposal and projects acquisition work CRM system apod)

  • Carries out his/her work and activities connected in compliance with policies and guidelines (Occupational health and safety fire prevention etc)

  • Performs other duties imposed by superiors or company management

You Have:

Essential

  • Experience in market research insights consumer intelligence or consulting with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

  • Proven account management and client relationship management experience including developing long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue targets through account growth upselling cross-selling and new business development.

  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of research projects from proposal creation and project design through to delivery of insights presentations and recommendations.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (Research Operations Data Reporting and Business Development) to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

  • Fluent Czech language skills and good English.

Desirable

  • Experience within FMCG retail media or consumer-focused sectors.

  • Knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies.
