Cloud Security Engineer

Key responsibilities

-Assistin designing buildingtestingand deployingcloudsecurity solutions acrossonpremand cloud environments

- Contribute to and leadmediumsizedprojects; support larger initiatives that improve security posture and operational processes

- Performdaytodaysecurity engineering tasks design develop python/scripts troubleshooting monitoring and remediation withappropriate oversight

- Gather and translate business requirements into technical/security controls and architecture

- Produce andmaintaindocumentation runbooks test plans and playbooks

- Support monitoring logging alerting incidenttriageand remediation activities

-Participatein continuous improvement knowledge sharing andcrossteamcollaboration

Required qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred

-Approximately 24 years of relevantcloud securityor security engineering experience

- At least oneCloudcertification (preferablysecurity) ordemonstratedprogress toward certification

- Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell Python or similar)

- Strong communicator comfortable working in a complex matrixed organization and engaging engineering operations and business stakeholders

Preferred skills and experience

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field

- Intermediate to advanced experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure AWS or GCP)

-Handsonexperience with secure cloud design/configuration networking

- Cloud security posture and risk management (CNAP/CSPMfundamentals); experience with Wiz or Prisma is a plus

- IAM and access control fundamentals (least privilege RBAC provisioning workflows)

- Vulnerability/threat identification and remediation workflows (scanning patching prioritization)

- Awareness ofDevSecOpspractices (CI/CD securityIaChygiene automation frameworks)

- Exposure to compliance and risk frameworks (ISO NIST PCI) is beneficial
