Position: Bilingual Czech STEM Expert (PhD) AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $53$57/hour
Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate

Role Responsibilities

Write expert-level prompts in Czech across specialized scientific topics.
Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy helpfulness and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and model safety.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in chemistry biology or a closely related field.
Native or near-native fluency in Czech plus business-level written English.
Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques in your subfield.
Sound judgment around scientific safety and the responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred

Based in the Czech Republic or the wider Eastern Europe region.
Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background.
Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic or inorganic synthesis molecular biology microbiology virology or genetics.
Research or coursework on chemical safety and security biosafety and biosecurity or hazardous-materials handling.
Experience reviewing grading or red-teaming technical content.
